As director of the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI), Dr. Steven M. Greer has prepared briefings on UFOs and ETs for two sitting presidents, members of congress, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as well as the Director of the CIA and numerous foreign leaders. “Hidden among these USAPs are free energy propulsion technologies reverse-engineered from downed UFOs that should have replaced fossil fuels more than 40 years ago,” says Dr. Greer. Adding, “Witnesses testify to their existence, as well as other illegalities – including the harassment and murder of scientists who made breakthroughs in zero-point-energy that threatened the fossil fuel industry.”

To bring Unacknowledged to the masses through a new documentary and book, Dr. Greer and his supporters raised over $700,000 in crowd funding. “We’re not out to prove that ETs exist; these advanced craft have been seen by millions of people over the last 70 years. The reason for the secrecy and denial has everything to do with the zero-point-energy technology that powers these craft. In addition to offering mankind the keys to humanity’s energy future, Dr. Greer and his witnesses “expose the existence of a secret faction of the government that acts without the knowledge and approval of the president or congress, much less the people. Before reading this book, read ‘Hidden Truth’ for a better understanding of the main position of Dr Greer.
This book once again sets forth the technologies known by the Earthlings which are maintained secret and can radically change the way of life on this planet.
According to the book, zero point energy and antigravity are technologies known by human beings. Zero point energy, which is free, clean and sustainable, can be converted into electricity avoiding the use of coal, oil, gas, water and nuclear resources. Transmission lines and expensive power plants will be unnecessary if this technology is disclosed. New transport means (silent and high speed flying vehicles) will be possible to be developed. Surface roads won’t be necessary anymore. No more jets. Pollution can be stopped.
In medical area, cancer can be cured and organs can be regenerated.
But, the implementation of these technologies will completely redefine our current global economy. This huge problem involving strong economic interests is difficult to be faced and solved.

What a read!

 Usually I read non-fiction but the title of Karma Visited intrigued me so I read it and could not put this book down. The author has written a fascinating story of good and evil in a plausible way. My heart beat faster reading many scenes and felt relief when things brightened for a few pages. What a read! I highly recommend this wonderful story for anyone looking for something out of the ordinary and so fulfilling.    ~~  Don Thorkelson

 Great Story Told Exceptionally Well  reviewed by Douglas C. Meeks

There are a lot of long reviews here so I will try to be brief (if possible), this was an amazing story. I was not sure if it would catch my attention but that was taken care of after a chapter or two.

The author solidifies the romance with the reader quickly for those (like me) who had not read the first book. I have to make mention of the exceptional way she was able to thread necessary parts of the previous book into this one seamlessly to keep me from being lost or confused over things that happened previously.

Arik and Rebeka are the two consummate lost lovers, I have to mention that this whole plot is done well although for awhile you think the cause of it all was Rebeka being TSTL. The story kept my attention, the lovers go through the requisite trials and tribulations while other plots unfold around them.

It was great storytelling and I enjoyed it right through the end. Well done and probably deserves a longer review but I stayed up late last night finishing this book (could not put it down) and so you get the abbreviated version of my thoughts on this extremely entertaining novel.

4.5 Stars rounded to 5 mostly for entertainment value.

Book Review: Star Cruise: Marooned: (A Sectors SF Romance) by Veronica Scott

Meg Antille works long hours on the charter cruise ship Far Horizon so she can send credits home to her family. Working hard to earn a promotion to a better post (and better pay), Meg has no time for romance.

Fast paced and tightly written, Star Cruise: Marooned is a not-to-be-missed sci-fi action adventure. Red and Meg are believable characters and while their relationship develops into a romantic one, it was secondary to the main plot and was therefore more believable. This was a fast read for me, not because of its length, but because of its timing. The action flowed without feeling contrived, both of the main characters were strong, capable, and engaging. Scott’s descriptions were broad enough to give the reader an imaginative feel for the setting without an overload of unnecessary details. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to reading more of Ms. Scott’s work.

Welcoming Author Angela Kay Austin to The Potpourri Parlor

Angela Kay Austin has always loved expressing herself creatively. An infatuation with music led to years playing several instruments, some better than others. A love for acting put her in front of a camera or two for her thirty seconds on camera before giving way to a degree and career in communications. After completing a second degree in marketing, Angela found herself combining her love for all things creative and worked in promotions and events for many years.

I met the multi-published Angela Kay Austin through Vanilla Heart Publishing, just one of several publishers that produces her terrific books. Angela’s latest offering is Run For Freedom (The American Civil War Series book 1)

The choice was to run for freedom or die never having been valued as a human — as a woman. The penalty was the same — death!

The Interview

Angela dedicated this book to her mom who always supported her the whole way going to seminars and more with her.  Her mother used to check out books for Angela before she had her own Memphis Library card.

Angela explained, “So, there was nothing I could do, but dedicate it to her 🙂 Wish she was here to see it happen…” (Angela’s mom passed away earlier this year.)

Q: Please tell us a brief blurb about Run For Freedom.

Angela: RFF is a composite of many different things that interest me: history, love, and unlimited possibilities. I’ve never written historical, paranormal, or new adult. Without really attempting to I ended up crossing genres because of my interest in just following the possibilities.

Q: What kind of research did you do in order to write this tale?

Angela: I read a ton of history books on the American Civil War, weapons, slavery. I listened to a lot of recordings of freed slaves, as well as read some transcripts of freed slaves. I attended seminars on the American Civil War, too. It was all so amazing to learn.

Q: Please tell us a little bit more about your mom. Was she a writer?

Angela: My mother didn’t write, but when I was young she read different magazines and left them lying around. I picked them up. She encouraged me to never stop doing what I enjoyed and she told everyone she knew that her daughter was a writer 🙂 She even attended conferences with me and in my place, if I had conflicts. My mother was an absolutely amazingly selfless and giving woman.

Q: Most school children were raised with “history” lessons about this time in America, what piqued your interest in the subject you wrote about in Run For Freedom?

Angela: I’m from the south. I’ve seen remnants of the hate and segregation that divided my country, and I’ve always wanted to have the opportunity to be a part of the story of change.

Q: Is this your regular genre?

Angela: This is all new to me, and I like it. It crosses many lines: history, paranormal, interracial and new adult.

Q: I notice that this is listed as the first book of a series – do you have ideas about the rest of the series? Anything you want to share?

Angela: I am currently working on the second book, and I have the idea for the third book taking root.  The final book in the series is what I’m developing. Right now I see it as Triumph’s story. (BTW, Triumph was my great-grandfather’s name.)

Q: Is there anything you want to say about Fiona Jayde (Illustrator) and Leonore Elliot (editor)?

Angela: These two have been my right hands with this piece 🙂

Q: Thank you so much for taking the time to join us here today. Is there anything you would like to add?

Angela: I hope that people will check out Run For Freedom. When I received the cover art, the first thing I wanted to do was share it with my mother. I think sharing it with readers around the globe, she will see it and smile!
