The song, which was once again produced by Don Chaffin (The Doors, Foreigner, Vanilla Fudge) at his DCity Studios, is a radio ready anthem that showcases the powerhouse pipes and songwriting prowess that people across the country have come to expect from Charlie Dane. One could say this track is a big step forward in the maturation process of this rising star, who just finished a slate of shows on Long Island this past month at the Cedar Beach Blues Festival, on the main Harry Chapin stage at the Huntington Fall Festival and for her 4th straight year at Oyster Bay’s Oyster Festival.
Ranging in musical styles from rock and roll, to blues, jazz, funk and more, Charlie has cemented herself as one of the fastest rising independent female singer/songwriters in America. She has tirelessly spent 2013 pushing her debut record “Dreamland”, performing with top names like Kenny Wayne Shepard, at showcases like the SXSW Festival, and in as far reaching a place as Hawaii to get herself noticed, with more of the same planned to promote this latest offering.
